5 Sarangani schools use Text2Teach

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (April 1, 2016) - The Sarangani Provincial Government has received Text2Teach packages from the Ayala Foundation for five far-flung schools to improve the “quality of teaching and learning”.

Text2Teach is a learning package that uses mobile technology to download education videos for Grades 5 and 6 students in the subject areas of English, Math, Science, and Values Education.

The packages were received by Dr. Isagani dela Cruz, schools division superintendent of Sarangani, from Karen Kay Jagape, the foundation’s project coordinator in Mindanao, during the ceremonial turn-over on March 22.

Maitum holds forum against poverty

MAITUM, Sarangani (March 15, 2016) - Mayor Pepito Catimbang reminds participants to be patient and to persevere in the fight against poverty during the Criteria Setting Workshop held at Municipal Auditorium on February 29. It was participated in by the Municipal Inter-Agency Committee, KALAHI–CIDSS staff members, barangay captains and volunteers from the 19 barangays. 4 Maitum barangays get birthing home
