It has been used as a school which caters to pupils from kindergarten to Grade 4. Pupils coming from neighboring places like Kanaan hike three kilometers every day just to reach school. PAMANA Project builds peace center

MAASIM, Sarangani (June 24, 2016) - Juniel Ranieses, project coordinator of Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) Project of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) expresses his awe and pity for the situation of Tboli villagers in Sitio Datal Hofo, Barangay Nomoh during the turn-over ceremony Thursday, June 23, of one Community Peace Center that is already operating as a two-room school. Teachers have to hike for eight hours before reaching the school and the students lack books and school materials like pencils and paper. Vice Governor Jinkee bids farewell

ALABEL, Sarangani (June 23, 2016) – “A more prudent concern on family interest,” Vice Governor Jinkee J. Pacquiao said Tuesday (June 21), ends her one term in office.

Vice Governor Pacquiao bade farewell to her co-officials and wished good luck for outgoing Board Member Alexander Bryan Reganit, who was elected mayor of Maitum, and Board Member Elmer de Peralta, the incoming vice governor.

But colleagues in politics are buoyant for her chances of a political comeback.

Governor Steve Solon recognized Vice Governor Pacquiao’s good deeds and accomplishments over the last three years of her service to Sarangani province.

Duterte returns to Sarangani as President

ALABEL, Sarangani (June 23, 2016) - President-elect Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrives at the Sarangani Capitol Wednesday, June 22, to grace one of the province's historic events, "Convergence: The Inaugural Ceremony of a United Sarangani and General Santos", the oath-taking ceremony of local officials of Sarangani and General Santos City, including that of Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon and Senator-elect Emmanuel Pacquiao. On November 27, 2015, Duterte delivered a speech in the same venue during the Munato Festival and 23rd Foundation Anniversary of Sarangani a few hours after his lawyer filed his certificate of candidacy for president in Intramuros. In that speech, the Davao City mayor vowed that he will build a law-abiding, God-fearing and comfortable nation if elected president. Duterte also said that “corruption has to stop” and “criminality has to go.” He made it clear he would not change his ways in dealing with drug dealers and criminals.
