Computers for schools on science week

Massive bamboo planting in Maitum

MAITUM, Sarangani (July 27, 2016) - In line with the celebration of National Disaster Consciousness Month with the theme "Kahandaan at Pagtuon sa Sakuna, Tungkulin ng Bawat Isa", Mayor Alexander Bryan Reganit plants a bamboo seedling at the bank of Kalaong River on July 22. The event attended by Vice Governor Elmer de Peralta was participated in by over 150 regional, provincial, local government employees, elementary and high school students and KABALIKAT Civicom. Kalaong is one of the flood-prone barangays and with that the participants planted 2,000 bamboo seedlings along Upo River that connects to Kalaong River. (John James I. Doctor /MAITUM CDIO)

Government leads coastal clean-up

MAITUM, Sarangani (July 25, 2016) - Government employees, men in uniform, students and teachers go hand-in-hand in promoting disaster consciousness during the coastal clean-up at barangay Old Poblacion Friday, July 22. Bamboo planting earlier took place at Barangay Kalaong where 2000 bamboo seedlings have been planted. Bamboo planting for climate change

Baseball heroes honored at home

Naval turns emotional as he thanks the people for their efforts and prayers in the victory of his Philippine team that won the Bronze in the 2016 Asia Pacific Intermediate Little League Baseball Tournament (AsPac) in Clark, Pampanga on July 11-17 competed by Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Hongkong and the Philippines.
