Meet the Philippine Team

CLARK, Pampanga (July 14, 2016) - Sarangani kids representing the Philippines hand over tokens with powerhouse South Korea before their match during the Asia Pacific Intermediate Little League Baseball Tournament (AsPac) at the International Sports Complex Wednesday, July 13. Sarangani earned the right to represent the Philippines by winning the championship of the elementary baseball in the 2016 Palarong Pambansa. Philippines, Korea show mettle at AsPac

CLARK, Pampanga (July 14, 2016) – Action in the second inning heats up as the Philippines attempts to foil the South Korean onslaught at the Asia Pacific Intermediate Little League Baseball Tournament(AsPac) Wednesday, July 13. The Philippines had earlier incurred a win against Indonesia and a loss against Japan. The Philippines will face Hongkong on Friday, July 15. The July 11 to 17 AsPac qualifying tournament is being competed by Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Hongkong and the Philippines. Philippine Team battles South Korea today

CLARK, Pampanga (July 13, 2016) - Philippine Team athletes from Sarangani are in queue from their quarters at The Villages heading for their crucial match with South Korea at around 11am today, July 13. First-timer Sarangani kids have already incurred one win against Indonesia and a loss against powerhouse Japan. The July 11 to 17 Asia Pacific qualifying tournament is being competed by Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Hongkong and the Philippines. Little boys shine at AsPac

CLARK, Pampanga (July 12, 2016) – Sarangani representing the Philippines won over Indonesia by regulation, 21-2, in its second game at Asia-Pacific Intermediate League Baseball Tournament (AsPac) at The Villages here Tuesday (July 12).

After being blown off by Japan in the opening day (July 11), the debuting team of Sarangani defeated Indonesia today, 21-2, in only five innings.

“The kids expectedly find international play tough, but they are doing their best,” said Sarangani coach Lord Ken Naval.

The Philippines has always been embodied by players coming from the National Capital Region. But after winning in this year’s Palarong Pambansa, the boys from the little town of Maitum, Sarangani earned the right to face the international oppositions.
