Pupils welcome Thai delegation

MAASIM, Sarangani (August 27, 2016) – Pupils of Mangelen Integrated School in Barangay Kamanga welcome Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, Thailand Ambassador to the Philippines Thanatip Upatising and his consuls on Thursday, August 25. Mangelen Integrated School is one of the three schools included in the preliminary assessment of the Thai Ambassador and his consuls. The chosen school may be included as beneficiary of the "Children and Youth Collaborative Project" of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. 3 Sarangani schools considered by Thailand

ALABEL, Sarangani (August 27, 2016) - Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon welcomes Thai Ambassador Thanatip Upatising at the Capitol Thursday, August 25. The ambassador and his consuls conducted a preliminary assessment of three schools in Maasim which may be included as beneficiary of the "Children and Youth Collaborative Project" of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. Culture of Peace nurtured in Sarangani

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (August 26, 2016) - Flor Limpin, Department of Interior and Local Government provincial director, discusses the importance of peace in nation-building during the opening of the three-day Culture of Peace (COP) Training on July 23. The activity was attended by representatives coming from the military, police, Capitol department heads and other government instrumentalities in Sarangani. COP trainings have been conducted by Sulong Kapayapaan, a subprogram of Sulong Sarangani, focusing on the sustenance of peace, values formation and development among conflict-vulnerable communities. Sanitation thru JINKEENATION

MAITUM, Sarangani (August 25, 2016) - Samuel Rosete, sanitation inspector of the Rural Health Unit (RHU), gives instructions to barangay officials on the use of plastic septic tank during the turnover of plastic drums as augmentation to the JINKEENATION Zero Open Defecation program held at Municipal Hall Wednesday, August 24. The 100 pieces of plastic drums will be given to households in coastal barangays.
