DOH exec entertains BHWs

ALABEL, Sarangani (October 7, 2017) - Department of Health Assistant Secretary Dr. Enrique Tayag leads a dance after his speech during the 13th Regional Barangay Health Workers’ Congress with the theme “Pakikibahagi sa PHAgbabago Tungo sa KAlusugan Para sa Lahat” on October 5. The congress was hosted by the Province of Sarangani and was attended by some 4,000 participants from all over Region 12. The "dancing doctor" Tayag is looking forward in returning to the province for the opening of the Sarangani Hospital and Sarangani Regional Drug Rehabilitation Center. Tayag personally recognized Gov. Steve Chiongbian Solon as one of the local officials in the whole country who prioritizes the implementation of the health program. KIAMBA, Sarangani (October 6, 2017) - Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon cheers up a patient who is about to give birth during the blessing and turn-over of new buildings for the Dr. Cornelio T. Martinez Memorial Hospital on October 4. The Dr. Cornelio T. Martinez Memorial Hospital (formerly Kiamba District Hospital) received upgrades for its facilities in a total amount of P34 million.
