Kiamba receives SGLG award for 2017

MANILA (December 4, 2017) – Mayor Raul Martinez (5th from left) of Kiamba, Sarangani, together with municipal councilor Dr. Antonio Yasaña (6th from right) and DILG officer Florence Abelarde (extreme right), receives the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award. The award given at the Manila Hotel Tent City on November 29 is the second SGLG award the municipality has received following last year's award. This is yet another milestone in Kiamba's illustrious history signifying the municipality's progress and the LGU leadership's dedication to its town and people. Kiamba wins street dancing contest

ALABEL, Sarangani (December 4, 2017) – Dancers from the Municipality of Kiamba show their winning form on December 1 to emerge as champion of the Street Dancing Competition, and best in music. They received a trophy and cash prize of P200,000. The Municipality of Maitum contingent was 1st runner-up with a cash prize of P125,000, and best in costume. The 2nd runner-up was Municipality of Malungon with a cash prize of P100,000. Non-winning contingents received P50,000 each as consolation prize during the 15th Munato Festival celebration. Maitum takes 2nd place

ALABEL, Sarangani (December 4, 2017) – The Municipality of Maitum’s entry brings home the 2nd prize during the Munato Street Dancing Competition held at the Capitol grounds on December 1, 2017.
