SP honors late Governor Chiongbian

Tribute service for late Governor Chiongbian

ALABEL, Sarangani (March 1, 2017) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon comforts Capitol employee Ma. Luisa Bibat as she breaks down in tears during the tribute service for the late Governor Priscilla L. Chiongbian on February 22. Known as the mother of Sarangani, Mrs. Chiongbian died at the age of 95 on February 12 in Manila. Commitment for MASA MASID by thousands

ALABEL, Sarangani (February 22, 2017) - Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon signs the pledge of commitment wall to show support to the Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Iligal na Droga (MASA MASID) during its provincial launching at the Capitol gym on February 14. Gov. Solon led the pledge where thousands of Sarangans took oath showing their commitment to the MASA MASID program, including members of the Integrated Barangay Defense System and Development (IBDSD) project of the Sulong Sarangani program. The IBDSD project will be MASA MASID's volunteer structure in the communities of Sarangani. Community volunteers leading MASA MASID

ALABEL, Sarangani (February 22, 2017) - Thousands of Sarangans show support to the the Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Iligal na Droga (MASA MASID) during its provincial launching at the Capitol gym on February 14. The launching was graced by Interior and Local Government Secretary Ismael "Mike" Sueno, Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, regional heads, board members, mayors, religious sector, women's organizations, academe, barangay local government unit and members of the Integrated Barangay Defense System and Development (IBDSD) project of the Sulong Sarangani program. MASA MASID is a barangay-based anti-criminality, anti-corruption and anti-illegal drugs program, encouraging multi-sectoral collaboration and boosting the spirit of volunteerism in the community. Dental bus goes to Kiamba

KIAMBA, Sarangani (February 22, 2017) - Among the free services residents availed of during the kickoff of the 13th National Dental Health Month were free feeding program, free toothbrush and toothpaste and free fluoride, sealant and filling applications which was sponsored in part by Colgate Philippines. There were basic dental education and awarding of certificates and gift packs for orally fit children. The provincial and Kiamba municipal health offices also offered various medical procedures to the residents of Salakit. Among the services offered were basic blood and urine test where they checked for various diseases like hepatitis and syphilis. General consultation was also offered along with an extensive check up for pregnant women from the barangay. Free medicines were distributed. National Dental Health Month in February

KIAMBA, Sarangani (February 22, 2017) - The 13th National Dental Health Month which focuses on bringing dental awareness to two barangays in Kiamba kicks off in Barangay Salakit on February 14. This year’s theme “Ngiping Inalagaan at Pinayaman, Hatid ay Ngiting di Kukupas Kailanman” is spearheaded by the Municipal Dental Office in conjunction with the Philippine Dental Association and sanctioned by the local government of Kiamba and Sarangani Provincial Government.
