MAITUM, Sarangani (May 16, 2017) - Cluster 2 entry composed of barangays Mabay, Kalaong, Kiayap, Kalaneg, Sison and Malalag wins the championship of the street dance competition with a cash prize of P80,000 and trophy. Cluster 1 (Old Poblacion, Kiambing, Zion, New la Union, Pangi and Wali) was 1st runner up with a prize of P60,000 while Cluster 3 (Pinol, Maguling, Ticulab, Upo, Mindupok, Tuanadatu and Batian) was 2nd runner up during the 18th Binuyugan Festival and 58th Foundation Anniversary on May 8. Outreach program in remote barangay

ALABEL, Sarangani (May 16, 2017) - Residents of Barangay Datal Anggas avail of services delivered under the recent provincial community outreach program in collaboration with the local government unit of Alabel thru its Smile Alabel program of Mayor Vic Paul Salarda and the flagship program of Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, Sulong Sarangani. The services were OPV corn distribution and orientation, child friendly space activity and feeding, basic first aid and installation of RTS 117 multi sound siren, Tutok Buntis, True Love Waits, vaccination and deworming of livestock, profiling of sectors (women, youth, senior citizen and PWDs), water sampling and evaluation, and community based physical therapy to indentified person with disability. World Bank mission visits cooperative

KIAMBA, Sarangani (May 15, 2017) - Dante Tomaro, operations manager of United Maligang Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative, presents the cooperative profile during the 4th World Bank Implementation Support Mission to Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) at Barangay Maligang on May 10. This P35.7-million Investments in Rural Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity or I-REAP project of the Department of Agriculture (DA) is geared towards improving the quality of life of the local people and achieving agricultural development. This is complemented with a P47.4-million DA 4.31 kms. Kayupo-Maligang-Sitio Malayo Farm-to-Market Road to ease transport and reduce hauling cost of Abaca and other farm inputs. TB alliance reactivated, reorganized
