Education passport to future

MALUNGON, Sarangani (June 28, 2017) – “Education is the passport to the future”. This was the core message of Provincial Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (PIPMR) Board Member Fulung Fredo Basino to the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) parents, barangay council officials, and other stakeholders during the 1st Barangay Education Summit in Barangay Tamban on June 20. The summit generated reports from all school heads in the barangay. Basino is also a professor at the graduate school of Mindanao State University in General Santos City teaching about Indigenous Knowledge Skills and Practices. (Ener T. IPs receive 50 houses from NHA

MAASIM, Sarangani (June 28, 2017) – The National Housing Authority (NHA) represented by Engr. PNP IAS inspects troops

MALAPATAN, Sarangani (June 23, 2017) - Bae Estelita Tumandan Bantilan receives the commendation of Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan (GAMABA) or the National Living Treasures Award during the celebration of the 48th Foundation Anniversary and the 12th Pakaradyan Festival of the municipality of Malapatan on June 21. Bantilan is from Sitio Upper Lasang of Malapatan, a traditional artist on mat weaving recognized last January 6, 2017 by the Office of the President under Proclamation No. 126 upon the recommendation of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts pursuant to Republic Act 7355.
