Under One Sky: Budayaw Visual Arts Exhibition

GENERAL SANTOS CITY - (September 24, 2017) - Under One Sky: Budayaw Visual Arts Exhibition is displayed at Veranza Mall Atrium presenting artworks of any forms out of the imagery of the artists such as the mundane and the everyday life, history and the living heritage, natural and man-made disasters, indigenous communities, personal beliefs and politics, and the culture. Under One Sky is a first for this peripheral sub-region of Southeast Asia. The visual arts exhibition component of Budayaw 2017 attempts to re/connect the island region what was once affairs of nation-states, like the seas that reach across these places within the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines in the East ASEAN Growth Area). The visual arts become a window that opens to a new wider landscape of thought. (Donna Mahusay/Jake Narte /SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE)
