Davao boy wins Sarbay triathlon

GUMASA, Glan, Sarangani (May 20, 2018) – Charles Potter, 8, from Davao City, is the only boy in the 6-9 years old category and the Male Champion and 2nd overall. With a time of 31 minutes and 41.5 seconds, he finished the 100m swim, 3km bike and 1km run in the pre-Sarbay activity Sarbay Trikids or Triathlon Kids on May 19 at Isla Jardin del Mar resort. Kidapawan kid rules Sarbay Trikids

GUMASA, Glan, Sarangani (May 20, 2018) – Ralph Angelo Passion, 15, from Kidapawan City, is the 13-15 Years old Overall and Male Category Champion. Kids kickoff Sarbay action

GUMASA, Glan, Sarangani (May 20, 2018) – The pre-Sarbay activity starts with Sarbay Trikids or Triathlon Kids on May 19 at Isla Jardin del Mar resort. Sarbay Kids has three categories: first to run is the 13-15 years old category followed by 10-12 years old then the 6-9 years old category. IPs learn farm biz from DAR

MAASIM, Sarangani (May 16, 2018) – The Department of Agrarian Reform Sarangani launched this month the Farm Business School (FBS) which aims to improve the farmers’ entrepreneurial and management skills.

Sixty Blaan farmer-beneficiaries registered to the 25-session FBS in Sitio Blat, Barangay Amsipit.

Tribal chieftain Toni Saliman asked his fellow farmers to be united and avail this program as it unlocks many opportunities in the future.

During the launching program, Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer II Felix C. Frias said “the small holder farmers and indigenous people will no longer be vulnerable when they seek knowledge and apply them.”
