WB execs inspect Abaca processing facility

KIAMBA, Sarangani (May 15, 2017) - World Bank representatives Douglas Forno (extreme right) and Hanane Ahmed (4th from left) inspect Abaca processing in the newly-built processing facility during the 4th World Bank Implementation Support Mission to Philippine Rural Development Project at Barangay Maligang on May 10. This P35.7-million I-REAP (Investments in Rural Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity) Project will benefit 370 Abaca farmers and 60 IP women engaged into Tinagak processing. The United Maligang Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative (UMFMPC) will be the provincial consolidator of Abaca fiber.
