NAC-IP Partylist funds IP Center

ALABEL, Sarangani (July 18, 2017) – During the ceremonial turnover of the Indigenous Peoples Learning Center on July 14, Ang National Coalition of Indigenous Peoples Action (ANAC-IP) Partylist Representative Jose Panganiban Jr. said “this IP Center is for all indigenous peoples and use it for the benefit of our tribes here in Sarangani.” Panganiban sponsored the P3-million project at the Capitol compound implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways in partnership with the provincial government headed by Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon through Resolution No. 2015-08-024 approved on March 3, 2015 from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. The resolution, authored by Board Member Arman Guili and co-sponsored by all board members, requested the ANAC-IP Partylist to fund the construction of the IP Center. ANAC-IP Partylist has already established 30 IP Centers in the whole country. Congressman Panganiban is an IP from Northern Luzon. (Ener T. Toguin for SARANGANI INFORMATION OFFICE)
