Japanese birders join migratory raptor watch

RAPTOR HILL, Glan, Sarangani (October 6, 2017) – The Japanese Society for Preservation of Birds headed by Takashi Fujii (3rd from right), its secretary general and research manager, and Alex Tiongco (4th from right) from Raptorwatch Network Philippines lead birders at Raptor Hill in barangay Rio del Pilar on October 5 to witness raptors transiting to Indonesia. From September 18 to October 4, the team from the Environmental Conservation and Protection Center, Sarangani Information Office and village volunteers has registered 109,332 raptors in the place.
