MAITUM, Sarangani (October 23, 2018) – (From left) Engr. Gerald Faciol of the Provincial Engineering Office, Giff Dayondon and Cornelio Ramirez Jr. of the Environmental Conservation and Protection Center, and Joji Eunice Lasalita of the Provincial Planning and Development Office answer inquiries from beneficiaries of the Saub Watershed Ecosystem Rehabilitation and Flood Risk Reduction for Increased Resilience. The general objective of this project is to improve the resilience of Saub Watershed Ecosystem to flood and other associated risks caused by climate change variability. Barangay captains of Maitum also attended the meeting at the Maitum Municipal Auditorium. The total project cost is P103 million with an estimated implementation period of three years (2019-2021). Vice Mayor Tito Balazon also expressed his gratitude to the people behind this project, especially to Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, during the launching of the project on October 18.
