Sarangani, WBCP conduct raptor migration study

GLAN, Sarangani (September 16, 2016) – Alex Tiongco (4th from right) of the Wild Bird Club of the Philippines (WBCP) briefs members of the provincial technical working group and community volunteers Thursday, September 15, at the start of a month-long raptor migration study in barangay Cross. The study aims to promote coordinated actions to achieve and maintain the favorable conservation status of migratory raptors; to protect these migratory species along their flyways and to identify their important habitats, roosting sites and favored routes; and to produce a relevant research.
