ALABEL, Sarangani (January 9, 2019) – Sarangani’s campaign against illegal drugs has prospered with the “ideal” or high functionality rating from the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Last December 28, Sarangani was among 21 provinces in the country that received the performance award at The Manila Hotel. Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon personally received the award for Sarangani’s Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) which he also chairs.

Based on the 2017 ADAC Performance Audit results, “241 local government units which composed of provinces, cities, and municipalities have garnered scores between 85 to 100 functionality points with an adjectival rating of ideal (high functionality). Out of which, twenty-one (21) LGUs got perfect score.”

Thousands join Handog Pasasalamat
