Roads dev’t to stimulate economic and social development
MAITUM, Sarangani (October 5, 2021) - Mayor Bryan Reganit stresses out the importance in the procurement of the set of heavy equipment that will be used in the different mass-oriented infrastructure development in the municipality during its blessing and turn-over ceremony at the JLC Hall on September 30. LGU Maitum had procured brand new heavy equipment consisting of 1 Unit Excavator (Crawler Type), 1 Unit Tractor Head w/ Low Bed Trailer, 2 Units Dump Truck (6x4) (19 cubic meters), 1 Unit Compactor (Road), 1 Unit Water Tanker, 1 Unit Bus, 1 Unit Transit Mixer, and 1 Unit Bulldozer (Crawler Type). These were acquired thru the LGU’s availment of loan from the Landbank of the Philippines in accordance with the Sangguniang Bayan authorization thru SB Resolution No. 2021 - 022. Reganit also emphasized the vital importance of roads in providing access for the delivery of products of the constituents of Maitum that will be crucial to stimulate economic and social development of the community as a whole. LGU Maitum’s new heavy equipment pool to spur local economic activity
MAITUM, Sarangani (October 5, 2021) - Fr. Fred Paulo officiates the blessing and dedication of the newly-acquired heavy equipment of the Local Government of Maitum in front of the Municipal Hall on September 30. The program was participated in by municipal officials, LGU department heads, and barangay captains of the 19 barangays. The program was also graced by Eden B. Japitana, General Santos Lending Center Landbank of the Philippines Head, and Alice Fong, JinYi Import and Export Trading Co., Inc. Chief Executive Officer. The Local Government Unit of Maitum acquired the said heavy equipment in the pursuit of its mission to spur its local economic activity and growth in the municipality thru efficient and effective performance and delivery of essential government services to its constituents. Gov. Solon files COC for Congressman
ALABEL, Sarangani (October 2, 2021) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon files his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) on October 1 at 2:35 pm at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC-Sarangani), Capitol grounds. Solon, who is serving his last term as governor, aims to continue his public service for the Sarangans through representing the province of Sarangani in Congress. Solon is running under the banner of the People’s Champ Movement in the May 2022 National and Local Elections. The filing of COCs will run from October 1-8. Cong. Pacquiao files COC for Governor
ALABEL, Sarangani (October 2, 2021) – Congressman Rogelio Pacquiao files his Certificate of Candidacy for Governor of Sarangani in the May 2022 National and Local Polls on October 1 at the Commission on Elections at the Capitol grounds. At 2:45 pm, Pacquiao successfully completed the process of COC filing during the first day of filing. The COC filing will run until October 8. Vice Gov. De Peralta files COC for re-election
ALABEL, Sarangani (October 2, 2021) – Vice Governor Elmer de Peralta files his Certificate of Candidacy on October 1 at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC-Sarangani), in his bid for re-election for a third term in the May 2022 National and Local Elections, under the banner of People’s Champ Movement (PCM).
