ALABEL, Sarangani (September 18, 2017) – Sarangani has leaped 18 notches higher in this year’s National Competitiveness Council’s annual Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) hitting 6th place among 72 participating provinces.
Rizal topped the ranking with the score of 46.3838. South Cotabato (40.1087), Cavite (38.9090), North Cotabato (38.6049), and Laguna (37.7200) followed as second, third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

KIAMBA, Sarangani (September 15, 2017) – Some residents from around Kiamba gather at the Municipal Civic Center recently to receive their work clothes and orientation as part of the Department of Labor and Employment's TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa Ating Displaced workers) program. MAASIM, Sarangani (September 15, 2017) - Mayor Anecito Lopez Jr. updates tribal leaders about infrastructure projects to be implemented in indigenous people’s communities such as school buildings and concrete access roads. The mayor attended the regular monthly meeting of Municipal Tribal Council on September 13 presided over by Municipal Chieftain Fulung Benjamin Donato. Mayor Lopez assured them that before the end of his term, all development projects for indigenous peoples will be implemented.
