Malungon still best in disaster preparedness
GENERAL SANTOS CITY (August 4, 2018) - Malungon town still keeps the fame as Sarangani’s Best Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Council after it consistently bagged the award for two straight years since 2017.
Alabel and Kiamba followed in the ranking as second and third placers, respectively, during Sarangani’s 3rd Gawad KALASAG Awarding on July 27.
Gawad KALASAG is the country’s premier annual awards which the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recognizes thru the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) for outstanding contributions in disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) and humanitarian assistance.

Drug war continues – Mayor Cutan
