ALABEL, Sarangani (July 20, 2020) – Schools Division Superintendent Gildo Mosqueda (center) presides over the Provincial School Board meeting on July 17 at the Capitol gym. Together with Marife “Ping” Gomez (left), Sulong Karunungan program coordinator, and Board Member Jess Bascuña (right), chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Technology, Mosqueda and the rest of the members of the school board discussed the updates on the enrolment status of DepEd Sarangani in preparation for the Oplan Balik Eskwela on August 24 for school year 2020-2021. Also, one of the agenda tackled was the innovation of LR on Wheels, which stands for Learning Resources on Wi-Fi Hub for Expanded e-Learning in Sarangani, as one of the modes of learning to be considered in the ‘new normal’ opening of classes. “Talagang napakahalaga,” Mosqueda said referring to the importance of LR on Wheels to be used as “one of the learning deliveries” for the students. “Kung tingnan naman natin ang cost-efficiency, makakatipid tayo sa LR on Wheels. Convenient din siya hindi lang sa bata pati na rin sa teacher, kasi si teacher hindi na kailangan maglilibot at mamimigay ng modules,” he added. Mosqueda said the LR on Wheels initiative has already reached the DepEd Central Office and Sarangani is set to present LR on Wheels to them on August 3.
