PUM quarantine over

ALABEL, Sarangani (February 13, 2020) – A health worker at the Dangerous Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DDATRC) waves goodbye to the four Chinese nationals on February 13. The Chinese nationals were held as Persons Under Monitoring (PUM) for the COVID-19 after arriving in the Philippines on January 30. On February 6, Doctor Arvin Alejandro, Provincial Health officer said, “According sa interview from our Glan Municipal Health Office, these four were not allowed in Samal where they were initially booked. So, they tried to look over the internet anong magandang lugar ang puntahan then they saw one of the resorts in Glan. They were interested to go there, that’s why from Davao nag-bus sila going to Gensan, and Gensan to Glan through public van.” These four Chinese nationals from Fujian, China were quarantined for 14 days and well-accommodated by the provincial government of Sarangani.
