Training on Proper Specimen Collection for Medical Technologists

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (May 7, 2020) – Medical technologists and reliever physicians from hospitals in Sarangani and General Santos City attend the simultaneous “Training on Proper Specimen Collection for Medical Technologists” and “Orientation on DOH AO No. 2020-0013 for Reliever Physicians and Medical Officers” on May 6 at Casa Rafael Business Inn. The orientation discussed substantial information such as the proper wearing and removing of face masks, face shields, coverall suits and medical footwear. Attendees were also reoriented on how to properly disinfect themselves using sanitizers and alcohol after performing their tasks to ensure their safety. The reliever physicians were also oriented in terms of the proper tagging of individuals as suspects and probable on coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
