Covid-19 contact tracing teams to level up methodology, manpower

ALABEL, Sarangani (September 3, 2020) - Provincial officials and heads conduct an initial discussion on the establishment of the provincial and municipal Covid-19 contact tracing teams on September 2 at the conference room, JLC building. Engr. Gerald Faciol, assistant provincial administrator, said “this meeting is purposely done to equip the members of our contact tracing teams. Through this meeting, nakita sab nato ang atong weak points which need to be improved and kinahanglan sab ta mag level up sa sistema sa atong contact tracing”. On September 4, the province is set to conduct a training to all the members of the seven municipal contact tracing teams. Faciol said the meeting will only be limited to three members from each town “because we are expecting that through this provincial training, they will also roll out their respective municipal training regarding the province’s contact tracing methodology”. The members who will be attending will be mostly coming from the municipal police office and epidemiology surveillance unit. Faciol also said that each of the seven municipalities of Sarangani is set to deploy eight contact tracing teams for a faster and wider scope of the contact tracing. “Governor Steve will also be giving out protective gears and equipment to all the municipal contact tracing teams in the province during the training,” said Faciol.
