ALABEL, Sarangani (October 7, 2020) – Dr. Arvin Alejandro, provincial health officer, speaks before the staff of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Koronadal City during their benchmarking activity in Sarangani Province on September 29 at the conference room, JLC building. The benchmarking activity was done to share how Sarangani implements its contact tracing interventions and to discuss the good practices of the province in its continuous fight against the Covid-19. Alejandro presented how the province is assessing its municipalities in terms of Covid-19 preparedness, basic structure of the Epidemiology Surveillance Unit, which Alejandro said “must be composed of at least four members consisting a team leader, surveillance officer, medical technologist and encoder”, proper isolation facilities and the conduct of antigen test for suspects and contacts of Covid-19 cases.
