SEC, Socoteco donate ambulance to Sarangani Glan Medicare Community Hospital

GLAN, Sarangani (February 19, 2021) – Sarangani Energy Corporation (SEC) HR-Admin & Project Assurance Head Joel Aton (6th from right) and SOCOTECO II OIC - General Manager Geronimo Desesto (6th from left) turn over the key of acceptance and ownership of the P2.2-million worth hospital ambulance to Vice Governor Elmer De Peralta (5th from right) during the Level 1 upgrade thanksgiving celebration, and operating and delivery rooms inauguration of Glan Medicare Community Hospital (GMCH) on February 18. The turned over ambulance is already equipped with life-saving apparatus and will be used to better the service of the GMCH especially now that it is already a Level 1 hospital and is capable to accommodate patients who need minor care and supervision. The ambulance was part of the Energy Regulation (ER) 1-94 financial benefit remitted by SEC to the provincial local government unit of Sarangani. Also present during the turnover ceremony were Assistant Provincial Administrator for Operations Engr. Gerald Faciol; Board Members Jose Tranquilino Ruiz, Corazon Grafilo, Irish Louie Arnado, and Joseph Calanao; Provincial Health Officer Arvin Alejandro; GMCH Chief of Hospital Dr. Eden Rose Malanao; and Department of Health 12 Regional Director Aristides Tan.
