“ResBakuna, Kasangga ng Bida” Covid-19 inoculation drive

ALABEL, Sarangani (March 29, 2021) – Maria Razel Bustria (extreme right), NIP (National Immunization Program) provincial coordinator assists some staff from Alabel and Malapatan Rural Health Units (RHU) during the continuation of “ResBakuna, Kasangga ng Bida” Covid-19 inoculation drive on March 26 at PHO-PDOHO (Sarangani Provincial Health Office and Provincial Department of Health Office) building. The staff from Alabel and Malapatan RHUs were tasked to do the vaccination during the activity. Bustria updated, as of March 26, the province’s inoculation activity has already reached 80 percent or an equivalent to a total of 484 out of the 606 personnel from the Municipal Health Offices in Sarangani. Also, PHO has vaccinated 23 percent or 427 out of the 1867 Barangay Health Workers; 46 percent or 25 out of the 54 PHO staff; 42 percent or 10 out of the 24 PDOHO staff; and 91 percent or 846 out of the 925 staff from the six province-run hospitals in Sarangani. Bustria disclosed that as of March 29, the vaccination in Sarangani is still ongoing for the priority group A or the frontline workers in health facilities and barangay health workers such as the nurses, doctors, medical technologists, swabbers, contact tracers, emergency transport officers, and social workers doing direct services.
