ALABEL, Sarangani (November 4, 2021) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon commends Sarangani’s top health officials in their guidance and management of the six provincial government-run hospitals during the turnover of the P95-M medical equipment from the Department of Health on October 26. The province is a recipient of the equipment being a pilot site in the implementation of the Universal Health Care Law. Solon lauded all the medical frontliners in the province “who are tirelessly working and who are taking the risk every day to give their service to those who are in need” especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The improvement of the province’s health sector is among the priority programs of Solon’s administration. Currently, already three of the six government hospitals in the province have been upgraded to a Level 1 facility. While the Sarangani Healthcare Facility situated at the Capitol compound has already processed its application for a Level 1 hospital.
