ALABEL, Sarangani (March 11, 2022) – Antoinette Miel S. Atablanco, 7, gets her Covid-19 jab on March 9 at the Sarangani Provincial Hospital (SPH) during the carnival-themed vaccination drive for the pediatric group ages 5-11 years old. Miel was accompanied by her mother, Myra Atablanco who is a pharmacist at the SPH, as she received her Pfizer shot. In the vaccination site, kids who are getting their shots are in a separate area from the kids in the waiting line in order to avoid “instilling fear” in the minds of the children. In the setup, fun videos and movies are played for the kids to watch as they wait for their turn to be vaccinated. After getting their jabs, kids were given goodies and snacks as they wait in the observation area.
