ALABEL, Sarangani (January 4, 2023) – The Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Sarangani conducted an unannounced rapid drug test to its employees and staff on January 4. The workforce of the Sarangani Provincial Hospital (SPH) and Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO) also underwent the test.
The activity was done in partnership with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) to advocate for a drug-free workplace in the provincial government of Sarangani.
Medical Technologist Federico Yadao said the drug test kicked off this year starting with the hospital and health office staff “to set an example so that it will ripple down to other offices sa LGU.”

In the first batch of 67 specimens tested, Yadao disclosed that thankfully, no specimen was reactive or that turned out positive with drug substances.
