Blaan Gnarè, mother tongue-based literacy app

ALABEL, Sarangani (November 30, 2019) – Stephanie Orlino, AVP Public Affairs of SMART Communications, introduces the Blaan Gnarè, a mother tongue-based literacy app, to indigenous peoples on November 29 at the Capitol grounds. According to Orlino, the app was designed for kinder to Grade 3 pupils to teach them the basic alphabet and numbers through the use of technology. The ceremonial signing and the launching of the literacy app was done during the celebration of the Munato Indigenous Peoples Day and the 17th Munato Festival.
