Operation Maharlika III

ALABEL, Sarangani (February 19, 2020) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (3rd from left, seated), Executive Director of Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC) and Head of Interpol Manila Undersecretary Allan Guisihan (3rd from right), Coordinator of Integrated Border Management Task Force (IBMTF) of Interpol Mr. Didier (2nd from left), and Eastern Mindanao Field Office Chief PCOL Alfredo Toroctocon (2nd from right) pose with the members of the Philippine National Police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and other law enforcement agencies on February 18 during the opening program of the 4-day pre-deployment briefing for Operation Maharlika III conducted by Interpol and PCTC at the Kasfala Hall. Didier said “Maharlika III is involving four countries; Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Brunei and its target is to fight against terrorists and foreign fighters.” According to Guisihan, the main goal of this event is to provide a comprehensive information package about the different Interpol capabilities and existing National Police Operational Procedures that will be useful in the conduct of the operation.
