P1.2M from OPAPP-PAMANA to association

GLAN, Sarangani (March 5, 2021) – Ustadz Pendie Colano (left), project manager of the Marginalized Fisherfolks Association, signs the Memorandum of Understanding for the P1.2M-worth of livelihood assistance given by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP) under its PAMANA program thru the provincial government of Sarangani to the association in Sitio Kimanganadal, barangay Pangyan. Colano thanked the OPAPP and the provincial government for the livelihood support they have given to their community. Comprising the P1.2M are five units of motorized fishing boats, 10 radio handsets, and 10 magnetic compasses for the 60 project beneficiaries. Another P1.9M-worth of livelihood assistance is set to be turned over to the same association for the second tranche of the P3.8M total assistance from the OPAPP for barangay Pangyan.
