OPAPP-PAMANA gives livelihood assistance

GLAN, Sarangani (March 5x, 2021) - Mylene Navales (right), Central Mindanao focal person of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process - PAyapa at MAsaganang PamayaNAn (OPAPP-PAMANA) program, visits the community where the P1.2M livelihood assistance is being turned over on March 3 at Sitio Kimanganadal, barangay Pangyan. Navales was assisted by Sulong Kapayapaan-Kalinaw program manager Jennifer Kamid (center), and staff Renilda Abdon (left) as they check on the five motorized fishing boats to be given as livelihood assistance to 60 beneficiaries of the Marginalized Fisherfolks Association. Along with the staff from the OPAPP-PAMANA Central Mindanao, Inspectorate Team from the Provincial General Services Office (PGSO), suppliers from the HG Agri-Industrial Machineries, and staff from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG-Sarangani) also witnessed the turnover. The PAMANA program is the national government’s convergence program that extends development interventions to isolated, hard-to-reach and conflict-affected communities, ensuring that they are not left behind.
