Executive Order No. 5 reiterates minimum public health standards

ALABEL, Sarangani (March 10, 2021) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon greets Kiamba Mayor Danny Martinez (left) with an elbow bump upon arriving in the Capitol gym where the executive committee meeting was held on March 10. The elbow bump has become the new normal way of greeting in this Covid-19 pandemic. Solon and the mayors discussed the salient points of the draft Executive Order No. 5 series of 2021 which reiterates the minimum public health standards, travel protocols and other measures in the management of Covid-19 in the province vis-à-vis the implementation of Resolution No. 101 of the National Inter-Agency Task Force. Dr. Arvin Alejandro, provincial health officer, explained the quarantine protocols and told the mayors that the provincial government is “looking into coming up with a system of the implementation of the vaccination that each individual who will be vaccinated or inoculated shall be registered in the system thru a QR code” which targets some 417,500 individuals or 70% of the population of Sarangani.
