End local communism with RPSB

ALABEL, Sarangani (July 16, 2021) – PCOL Michael Lebanan, provincial director of the Sarangani Police Provincial Office (SPPO), speaks before residents and guests at Sitio Kablan in Barangay Domolok on July 15 during the closing ceremony of the Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay (RPSB) Immersion Program of the Philippine National Police (PNP). According to Lebanan, during the three months duration of the immersion which started on April 9, “the police provided basic things, they immersed with the people, and they identified kung ano ang mga needs by conducting lectures and series of activities.” “Ginagawa natin ito dahil hindi na natin gustong bumalik pa ang mga NPA at makuha ang inyong loob ng mga taong puro lang pangako ang ibinigay at walang konkretong ginawa para mag-improve ang inyong mga buhay,” Lebanan said to the residents of Sitio Kablan. Lebanan also commended the patrolmen who “responded to the call” and were deployed in the community for three months. With the success of the conclusion of the RPSB immersion program in Domolok, Lebanan said “this only shows that we can end local communism by doing this kind of activity.” (Martin Fernando Bernad Jr. – Jori Mae Samillano/SARANGANI PROVINCIAL INFORMATION OFFICE)
