MALUNGON, Sarangani (September 4, 2021) – Vice Governor Elmer De Peralta says the brand-new sets of computers that the BLGUs benefited from his BLITS or the Barangay Legislative Information Tracking System program “marks the beginning of another opportunity” for them “to serve better in our community.” During the distribution of computer sets on September 1 at the Sunken Arena in Malungon, De Peralta said, “amidst the pandemic, I and the rest of my colleagues in the province headed by Governor Steve Solon and Congressman Ruel Pacquiao will not stop as we work on the provision na kailangang-kailangan lalo na sa atong community level” as he also promised barangay captains that his office would work out to provide each BLGU a printer with scanner. At the activity, a signing of acknowledgement and undertaking for the 31 sets of desktop computers was also undertaken. Also, present during the activity were Mayor Maria Teresa Constantino, Vice Mayor Mariano Escalada Jr. and board members Jose Tranquilino Ruiz, Ephraim Galzote, Joseph Calanao, Corazon Grafilo and Sarangani’s Sangguniang Kabataan Federation president Rheymar Dian. BLITS is a flagship program of Vice Governor De Peralta which aims to provide technologically advanced software developed as a tool to effectively carry out legislative tasks.
