MAITUM, Sarangani (January 27, 2022) – Noel Mahinay and Michael Mahinay from Barangay Mabay win the Lumba Bugsay competition on January 26 during the opening ceremony of the 15th Bangsi Festival. The event was held at Barangay Kiambing attended by locals who enjoyed the different in-land and water sports activities such as the bancarera contest, tura-tura boat contest, pakas preparation and the opening of the Wow Maitum photography contest. Despite the pandemic, the organizers with the supervision of Mayor Bryan Reganit, and with the support of Vice Mayor Tito Balazon and the rest of the Sangguniang Bayan members made sure that the minimum health standards were observed.
