MALUNGON, Sarangani (February 14, 2022) – School heads and reading coordinators of West Malungon District Schools receive reading materials and tutoring flashcards from the Sulong Karunungan project of Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon on February 11 at Lamlifew IP Integrated School, Barangay Datal Tampal. Together with DepEd Sarangani, Leah Rosauro (3rd from left) Sulong Karunungan project manager, and staff Nilong Ibrahim (4th from left) led the distribution of books and other reading materials to last-mile schools which include Lamlifew IP Integrated School, Nicomedes Sunio Elementary School, Datal Bila Integrated School, and Oliverio Elementary School. These schools are among the 115 selected recipient schools in the 23 districts of the division of Sarangani. The reading materials were donated by one of Sarangani’s constant partners, the Latter-Day Saint Charities, and were given in support to the reading programs of the schools, including the Read-at-Home program of Sulong Karunungan.
