MAITUM, Sarangani (February 21, 2022) - The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) organizes a coastal clean-up drive at Barangay Kalaong on February 18. This activity which kicks off every Friday of the month aims to help and protect marine life from the pollution brought by any types of trash. The activity was participated in by Philippine National Police personnel, PNP Maritime group, Maitum Women’s Association, barangay officials headed by Barangay Captain Joey R. Abequibel, Alpha Kapa Ro, Kappa Phi Epsilon, Alpha Sigma Omega, Tao Gamma Phi and Pi Omicron. Over 15 sacks of trash were collected by some 70 participants who took part in the event.
