2022 electoral candidates pledge for safe and fair elections

ALABEL, Sarangani (February 27, 2022) – Some candidates for the 2022 elections take their pledge of integrity during the candidates’ briefing and vote-counting machines (VCM) roadshow presentation on February 26 at the Capitol gym. This is part of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) voters’ information campaign. Sarangani COMELEC Atty. Jay Gerada, provincial election supervisor IV, said that taking the pledge of integrity “elevates the level of participation not just of the voters but as well as on the side of the people running for office.” “This integrity pledge,” Gerada added, “will be a good catalyst to bring this initiative out.” A demonstration on the proper way of using the VCM was also conducted during the activity which was initiated by Sarangani COMELEC led by Paul Adrian Canadilla, computer maintenance technologist I.
