MAITUM, Sarangani (March 6, 2022) - Eight-year-old Jairylle Friya De Asis patiently waits for her first dose of Covid-19 vaccine as the nurse checks her vitals during the pediatric vaccination drive kick-off for five to 11 years old on March 2. As authorized by the Food and Drug Administration, only Pfizer-BioNTech would be given to children ages 5-11 years old. The Rural Health Unit of Maitum recorded a total of 69 children who successfully received their first dose of vaccine against COVID-19.
