ALABEL, Sarangani (March 6, 2022) – (From left) Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon, Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre “Bebot” Bello III, and Mayor Vic Paul Salarda grace the Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan towards National Recovery on February 26 at Alabel municipal gym. The caravan aims to bring the services of the government to the members of the community and at the same time to give emphasis on the government’s programs, policies, accomplishments and efforts that have brought real change to the lives of the Filipino people. During the activity, some 53 members of the indigenous people (IP) community were given livelihood starter packs. The Department of Social Welfare and Development regional office and the provincial government of Sarangani headed by Governor Solon, Deputy Speaker Congressman Ruel Pacquiao, Vice Governor Elmer De Peralta and all the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members also distributed food packs to the beneficiaries. Some regional directors were also present during the activity including Rafael Abrogar II of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Raymundo Agravante of the Department of Labor and Employment, and Jeanne Anne Moendeg Zoilo of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency. Also present were National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Central Mindanao commissioner Jennifer Sibug Las, Regional Mobile Force Commander PCol.
