MALAPATAN, Sarangani (March 17, 2022) – Some provincial heads, municipal officials headed by Mayor Salway Sumbo Jr., and stakeholders lead the groundbreaking ceremony of the concreting of farm to market (FMR) road from Barangay Daan Suyan to Barangays Upper Suyan and Kinam on March 15. The road concreting project has a total budget of P30M funded through the office of Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon with the assistance of Senator Manny Pacquiao, Deputy Speaker Congressman Ruel Pacquiao, and duly supported by the legislative members of the province headed by Vice Governor Elmer De Peralta. The 950-meter road project will benefit farmers from the far-flung areas of barangays Kinam, Upper Suyan, and Daan Suyan which will also serve as an access road to reach the said barangays' proper. “Sa una, mga weapon truck ra gyud ang pwedeng makaagi sa atong mga dalan diri nga mao ra poy pwedeng makargahan sa mga produkto sa atong mga mag-uuma,” said Sumbo.
