RD Jaugan lauds Region XII competitive LGUs

KORONADAL CITY (March 28, 2022) – “This will be the basis for the investors to come in. This is how we sell Region 12 to them,” said Regional Director Jude Constantine Jaugan of the Department of Trade and Industry XII, as he speaks before guests and participants on March 24 during the 8th Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) Regional Awarding Ceremony. “Our accomplishments in our LGUs show the dedication, passion, and single-mindedness that we all have as people and as a region. So together let us not settle on what we have already achieved. Instead, we should continue to move forward and push through with more initiatives to bring impactful and necessary changes to Region XII,” Jaugan added. The CMCI is an annual ranking that aims to measure the performance of cities and municipalities in the country based on four pillars: Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, and Resiliency. Several city, municipal, and provincial local government units in Region 12 convene at Cinco Niñas in Koronadal to receive the awards conferred by the National and Regional Competitiveness Coordinating Committees.
