GLAN, Sarangani (June 2, 2022) - The husband-and-wife tandem of Lino Basilio, 65, and Maria Veronica Basilio, 64, from Koronadal City joins the first-ever Sea-kad (bike and plant activity) on May 29. Lino was awarded as the oldest participant in the said activity and received tokens and a cash prize. Sea-kad started at the Capitol grounds, had a stop at Sitio Lasang in Malapatan for the mangrove planting activity and ended at Mt. Sabrina Beach Resort in Barangay Tango, Glan. According to Lino, “aside sa bike activity, isa sa mga pinaka-nagustohan ko dito ay ang mangrove planting kasi we are doing this one not just for our health but also for our environment.” A total of 132 bikers joined the activity and planted around 300 mangrove seedlings.
