ALABEL, Sarangani (June 3, 2022) – Governor Steve Chiongbian Solon (5th from right) poses with Atty. Felix Alicer (4th from right), Department of Environment and Natural Resources XII regional executive director, and other officials and guests from DENR Sarangani, MENRO Alabel, CENRO Glan, and the local government units of Alabel and Sarangani province on May 30 during the inauguration of the Anti-Environmental Crime Task Force Checkpoint. The P170,000-worth 20-footer container van situated along the national highway of Barangay Maribulan was donated by Governor Solon to DENR for the establishment of the integrated task force checkpoint which will serve as the law enforcer in order to counter environmental violations like the illegal transportation of undocumented forest products and wildlife.
