ALABEL, Sarangani (June 17, 2022) – Vice Mayor Ronnel Saldua Español, also a member of the Philippine Red Cross GenSar Chapter board of directors, thanks the donors, volunteers, workers, and partners on June 14 during the bloodletting activity at Barangay Kawas gymnasium. “What we are doing today is not only saving our community, but ang ato mismong pamilya because we don’t know if ever naay manginahanglan ug dugo sa atong pamilya, pwede tang maka-access,” he said. He also lauded Barangay Kawas for being one of the top-performing barangays in health services, especially in blood donation, after it exceeded the 1% requirement for blood donation in the community.
